Welcome to my small slice of the internet. Here you will find random musings, sometimes even code. I immigrated to Los Angeles in the ’80s and have called it home until recently when I moved to Berkeley for work.

Tech Experience

I have been part of the LA tech scene since 2005 working at various places ranging from privately held enterprises to large consumer web destinations. My focus has been mostly in frontends using a variety of languages.

My stack has included a mix of databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL), languages (javascript, c#.net, ruby, objective-c/swift, java), and frameworks (node, rails, mvc.net).

Currently my stack is Rails 4 running on Heroku with a splash of AWS (S3, SQS, SNS). I am the lead developer of the audio-fitness app, MoveWith.

I love startups of all sizes (have worked at multiple seed stage startups), and love to contribute anyway I can, solving problems of all types and sizes. I am comfortable working across the entire stack but find most joy in frontends (mobile, web, desktop).
